Today our class worked on designing our Mission Statement. Everyone was eager to participate once they learned what a mission statement was. In math we reviewed exponents and worked on comparing and ordering whole numbers. Reading Strategies were discussed and we applied them to an expository text on Mount Rushmore. The class is positive and I ( Mrs. Glenn) appreciate their motivation and determination to do well. The class had their first Spanish lesson with Miss Maughan today. We are going to have spirit day on Fridays and everyone is stongly encouraged to wear Pirate atire. Go Pirates!!!
